How large is a van?

Each large hi-roof van has a cargo area of 20 cubic metres. If you book two vans, the total cargo space is 40 cubic metres.

Measurements:

1 = interior width, 1.8 meters; 2 = interior depth, 5.5 meters; 3 = interior height, 2.1 meters; 4 = clearance height, 3 meters.

Faq

Rates are charged by the hour and depend on the day of the week and the number of men and vans you choose. Time is billed from when we leave our depot in Reservoir to reach your pickup address, and again from your final drop-off location back to the depot. After the first hour, billing continues in 30-minute increments.

The minimum charge is one hour of moving time, plus the time it takes to travel from and back to our depot in Reservoir.

Two weeks ahead is best, especially during busy periods. But if you need to move sooner, give us a call — we often have short-notice availability.

Payment is made at the end of the move. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, and MasterCard.

Every move is covered by public liability and goods-in-transit insurance. If anything is damaged, we’ll repair or replace it.

We do. Our team is trained to move heavy and delicate items like fridges, oversized furniture and artwork. We don’t move pianos, but we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

Yes. We can pack up your home before the move and help you unpack at the other end. We also supply recycled boxes and packing materials if you’d prefer to do it yourself.

We move homes across Melbourne, the surrounding suburbs, and regional Victoria. We regularly cover areas like the Mornington Peninsula, Ballarat, and Wagga Wagga. If you’re moving further out, get in touch and we’ll let you know if we can help.
